THE CAMPAIGN
OUR NEXT ACT:
$4 Million Benchmark Campaign
We are now requesting support from the community to enable a vital next stage in the project's development. The Center’s design will be advanced toward completion, final renderings will be created, and support will be provided to launch a historic capital campaign to fund its construction and related operating costs.
This is the critical next step in the building project. This campaign will fund finalizing of the design, creation of renderings of all performance venues and generation of a new cost estimate and validation plan for the entire project. It will also fund the strengthening of general operations and the development of a comprehensive fundraising plan for the full campaign to follow.
PRE-2023
PROGRAM RESEARCH AND PROJECT ASSESSMENT:
100% COMPLETE
With the PACE’s Design/Construction Committee and a nationally recognized expert in arts center capital projects, PACE reviewed the scope and scale of the project, organizational readiness, the number of performance and community spaces, and developed a Concept Validation Plan to advance the project’s development.
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT:
80% COMPLETE
Ground plans, elevations and section drawings, HVAC systems and building designs were developed. Opportunities were identified to make design improvements to ensure the Center is operationally equipped to serve its mission and respond to evolving needs of the community.
2023
$4,000,000 BENCHMARK CAMPAIGN
$1 million has been raised, leaving $3,000,000 still to raise from true believers like you. The Freeman family has generously agreed to match all Benchmark gifts of $250,000 or more. We are grateful for all gifts and are especially thankful for leadership gifts to meet our challenge match so we can sustain the campaign’s momentum.
2024-2026
LAUNCH COMPREHENSIVE CAMPAIGN
Built upon critical work funded by the Benchmark Campaign, PACE will launch the effort to fully fund a world class performing arts center to entertain, inspire and engage the communities of the Eastside. PACE will complete this campaign to raise more than $300MM. Interim programming will feature quarterly performing arts presentations in nearby existing venues.
2027
BREAK GROUND
With construction underway, PACE will launch a Community Campaign and publish the first season and date of grand opening celebration.
